Engaging with the Nigerian Bottling Company Plc on Key Initiatives - 24th June, 2024

We had the pleasure of hosting representatives from Nigerian Bottling Company Plc, whose headquarters are located in Zug, Switzerland, within the Coca-Cola HBC Group.

Together with board members of the Swiss Nigerian Business Council, we engaged in a productive coffee discussion, focusing on key topics of shared interest, including:

  • Youth empowerment initiatives
  • Transformative changes in business and society
  • Vocational education and training (VET)
  • Promoting financial literacy
  • Decarbonizing the hospitality sector
  • Water conservation practices
  • Recycling for a world without waste

The discussion was rich and insightful, and we are excited about future collaborations. More to come!

Swiss Ambassador’s Outlook & Diplomatic Day - 5th June, 2024

We extend our sincere appreciation to Mr. Frank Eggmann, Consulate General of Switzerland in Lagos and a highly valued board member of the Swiss Nigerian Business Council, for organizing the insightful “Swiss Ambassador’s Outlook & Diplomatic Day” on June 5th.

This exceptional event, in collaboration with ProvidusBank and Polo Luxury, served as an invaluable platform for the private sector to engage with prominent diplomats. We are especially grateful to the Consulate General for the thought-provoking keynote address.

It was also a privilege to meet and exchange ideas with key diplomatic figures, including the Consul General of India, the Consul General of Lebanon, and the British Deputy High Commissioner. Their representation of the expatriate business community in Nigeria is vital.

The event further provided an excellent opportunity to highlight the ongoing work of the Swiss Nigerian Business Council and to connect with potential members and stakeholders.

We thank everyone involved for making this experience truly enriching.
