JACQUES
PIEKARSKI

President, SNBC

Jacques is the Group Chief Financial Officer (GCFO) of Tropical General Investments (TGI) Nigeria since 2014. TGI is a large privately owned International Group based in Lagos with over 20 companies in 5 main business verticals (Beverage, Agri and Trading, Farming, Specialty Chemicals, Pharma). 

Prior to that, he was also the GCFO of Flour Mills of Nigeria and he has got over 20 years of experience as GCFO/CFO in the EEMA Region with large multinational companies (Philip Morris, Kraft, Holcim, Glencore) and other large privately owned business, in various industries such as FMCG, Cement, Trading, and Mining), in Switzerland, Romania, Egypt, Serbia, Burkina Faso, and Nigeria.

Jacques was born in Switzerland, is a Swiss National, and holder of a MBA from the University of Wales and RKC Zurich.

In 1975, having obtained a degree in Commerce at the Ecole de Commerce of La Chaux-de-Fonds, he worked for 9 years in different branches of the UBS Bank in Switzerland.

In 1984, he joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and has been posted subsequently to Frankfurt, Lagos, Beirut, Moscow and Damascus.

In 1993, he was nominated Head of Chancery at the Embassy of Switzerland in Bulgaria, in 1995 he opened the Swiss Embassy in Sarajevo / Bosnia and Herzegovina as Deputy Head of Mission.

In 1998 he was nominated Vice-Consul in Rio de Janeiro/Brazil. In 2001, he was Consul in Tirana/Albania. In 2004, he was transferred to Colombo/Sri Lanka as Deputy Head of Mission.

In 2009, he turned back to Berne in the position of Head of Cross-Cutting issues in Asia / Pacific at the Asia / Pacific Division at the Political Direction of the Federal Department for Foreign Affairs.

From July 2013 to October 2015, he was the Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of Switzerland in Abidjan/Côte d’Ivoire.

From November 2015, he is the Consul General of Switzerland in Lagos, Nigeria Mr. Yves Nicolet-dit-Félix is married and lives in Nigeria with his wife and two children.

Benjamin is a Founding Partner at Seedstars, a Swiss venture capital fund headquartered in Geneva focused on tech-enabled businesses and active in 65 emerging markets.

He spent his early career at McKinsey & Co focusing on FMCG in emerging markets. 

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from HEC Lausanne, Switzerland.

Born and raised in Fribourg, Switzerland, the beautiful Land of chocolate and cheese, Shahin moved to Lagos with his family in 2009. He is a well-respected entrepreneur and investments specialist having created and developed successful businesses in Finance, Media and Telecommunications.

Mr Nouri is now heading Coollink.ng a leading Internet Service Provider in Nigeria. He is also Board Member and Executive Director of all AIM Group companies active in Construction with Aim-Consultants, broadcasting with Cool FM - Wazobia Fm - Nigeria Info FM - Wazobia Max TV and hospitality with Chocolat Royal.

Living his passion for motor sports, Shahin became in 2016 European champion of the ultra competitive Lamborghini championship, competing with a Swiss licence and representing Nigeria.

Adebola Okusanya joined Mercuria Energy Trading in 2008 as country manager and head of business operations in Nigeria. Prior to joining Mercuria, she served as head of administration at Unity Bank of Nigeria for five years and was the Chief Executive Officer at Assets International Limited also for five years.

Adebola had served at Kaduna Chemical and Industrial Products as a marketing and commercial executive for three years.

She holds a degree in International Relations and Strategic Studies from the Ahmadu Bello University Zaria. She furthered her studies and acquired a diploma from the University of Lancaster and a masters in International Relations and Strategic Studies.

Adebola is passionate about rehabilitating and empowering young vulnerable girls while encouraging them to reach their fullest potential. She enjoys reading and meeting new people.

MUYIWA
OLANIYAN

Muyiwa is a seasoned management professional with broad cross-functional expertise. Experienced in Business Operations Management, Project Management, People Operations, Risk Management; especially as it relates to International Trade/Supply Chain/Information Technology and Quality Management. He is highly motivated, passionate and result oriented; astute believer in service delivery excellence and integrity; always seeking value adding & challenging responsibilities!

He joined SGS in 2007, as Technical Product/Trade Analyst, following an earlier career as a  Network Critical Infrastructure Engineer with an IT Start-up in Nigeria. Over the years he has rose through the ranks working as Head of Customs Valuations/Risk Management, CMO Operations Manager (2009 – 2015) and now as Country HR Manager.

Muyiwa has attended senior management programmes in the UK and South Africa, with membership of a number of professional bodies including IRCA, IAPM

He has a Masters in International Business Management (UOL UK).

Babatunde
OJO

Babatunde Ojo is the Head of Finance and the ad-interim Country Head - English West Africa at Novartis Pharma. 

He is a Chartered Accountant with over 12 years work experience ranging from Customer/Account Management to several roles of increasing responsibility within finance functions in a number of multinational companies, both within Nigeria and Sub-Saharan Africa. He holds an MBA in Marketing from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). 

Babatunde has performance principles resolving around value and relevance. In today's competitive business landscape, he is of the view that an organization’s success can only be guaranteed through meeting and exceeding the expectations of internal and external stakeholders on a continuous basis.

Akunna
ONYEDUM

Secretary, SNBC

Akunna Onyedum is the Communications Lead and Executive Assistant to the Country Group Head for English West Africa at Novartis Pharma. Novartis is a global healthcare company based in Switzerland that provides solutions to address the evolving needs of patients worldwide.

Akunna has over 8 years work experience ranging from Office Administration and Internal Communications to Public Relations in both local and multinational companies. She holds a Masters degree in English from the University of Lagos with a Ph.D. in view as a Social Media Linguistics researcher.

Akunna is committed to the administrative effectiveness of the Executive Board and will continue to collaborate with other members to accomplish the goals of the SNBC; while building a prestigious brand for the council in both socio-political and business circles in Nigeria and Switzerland.
